TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Introduction
Welcome to The Pole Shed Ltd (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By engaging with our services, you (“Customer,” “Client,” or “User”) agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services Provided
We offer a wide range of Pole, Aerial and other fitness and wellbeing classes and workshops. Details of our offerings, pricing, and availability are subject to change.

3. Booking and Payments

  • All bookings must be made through The Pole Shed app or website.

  • Payment Terms:

    • All sessions in a booking must be scheduled before the expiry date on the pass purchased.

    • Class Packs

      • Class packs expire three months from the purchase date and cannot be extended.

      • All sessions must take place on or before the expiry date.

      • A maximum of five credits may be rolled over to the next available pack on request, subject to space on the new pack.

      • Requests must be made via WhatsApp 07359 484901 (preferred) or email info@thepoleshed.com.

      • No refunds will be provided.

      • Cancellations follow the standard policy outlined below.

    • Subscriptions

      • Subscriptions run for three months from the requested start date.

      • Each month, subscribers receive an allocated set of credits.

      • Credits must be used within the month following the invoice date and cannot be extended

      • A maximum of five credits may be rolled over to the next available pack on request, subject to space on the new pack.

      • Requests must be made via WhatsApp 07359 484901 (preferred) or email info@thepoleshed.com, before the credits have expired

    • Memberships

      • Memberships run for 12 months from the requested start date.

      • Each month, members receive an allocated set of credits.

      • Credits must be used within the month following the invoice date and cannot be extended

      • Buy-Out Clause: If a member wishes to terminate their membership early, they must pay 50% of the remaining contract value except in special circumstances as defined by UK law – see Cancelling a gym membership - Citizens Advice for more information

  • Attendance:

    • Students must arrive 5–10 minutes before the session to ensure a prompt start.

    • If a participant misses part of the warm-up, they may not be allowed to join the class for safety reasons.

    • No refunds will be provided for late arrivals or missed sessions.

  • Cancellations:

    • If you are unable to attend a session you must unregister via the Pole Shed app or website.  Failure to do so may result in a no-show charge of £5.

    • If cancelled within 24 hours, credits will be refunded and can be used for another session, subject to the original expiry date.

    • If cancelled after 24 hours, credits will be forfeited.

  • Studio Cancellations:

    • If fewer than two students are booked into a class, the session will be automatically cancelled by the studio.

    • Credits for cancelled sessions will be refunded.

    • If the cancellation occurs seven days or less before the expiry of the credits and the participant cannot attend another session, credits may be extended by a further seven days upon request.

    • Requests must be made via email to info@thepoleshed.com or WhatsApp 07359 484901.  This must be before the expiry date of the credits

4. Liability and Assumption of Risk

  • Participation in our activities involves physical exertion. Clients acknowledge and accept the inherent risks.

  • The Pole Shed Ltd is not responsible for injuries or damages arising from participation, except as required by law.

  • Clients should consult a medical professional before engaging in activities.

5. Code of Conduct

  • Clients must respect instructors, staff, and fellow participants, both in the studio, and in any engagement on social media (including WhatsApp) or other contact

  • Misconduct, including harassment or disruptive behaviour, may lead to removal without refund.

  • Safety Policy: Participants are not permitted to teach, instruct, or spot other students. All guidance and support must come from qualified instructors to ensure safety.

 6. Privacy and Data Protection

  • We collect and store personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy

  • We do not share personal details with third parties except where legally required or essential for service delivery.

  • Client Responsibility: Clients agree to update The Pole Shed Ltd with any changes to the information requested at the time of joining, including but not limited to health details provided in the PARQ (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire)

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content, including branding and materials, belongs to The Pole Shed Ltd.

  • You may be allowed to record parts of class, including demonstrations where permission is sought.  This content is for personal use only. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited. 

8. Amendments and Changes

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

  • Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
