Aerial Yoga is an anti-gravity class which uses both the ground and the support of a suspended material sling with suspension hand sets to transform traditional yoga into a multi dimensional experience. These classes are a fun and effective way to enhance your yoga experience and build strength, flexibility, balance and stamina. As well as being a cardiovascular workout each class combines inverted poses with breathwork and relaxation techniques in a unique anti gravity class. Using the Yoga Trapeze can also help decompress the spine and builds strength in the back and supporting muscles which can help with anyone suffering from pain or discomfort of the spine.

Prerequisites: None  What to wear: Comfortable, stretchy clothing that won’t restrict your freedom of movement. Close fitting items are ideal as baggy clothing can become caught on the yoga trapeze.

This workshop is part of our Introduction to Pole & Aerial series. Whilst complete beginners are welcome to attend all of our beginner and mixed level sessions we understand that you may want to try something new when you are surrounded by others who are also giving it a go for the first time. In these sessions you will be able to try things out on the apparatus in a safe and supportive environment where everyone else is a total beginner too. Please note all Intro workshops are non-refundable and non-transferable. This workshop is being organised and managed by The Pole Shed Ltd
